안녕하세요? 

 

여러분 모두 현재 COVID-19로 어려움을 겪고 있지만 지혜롭게 어려움을 잘 이겨 내리라고 믿습니다. 저희 한글학교도 COVID-19으로 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 장소 문제도 그 중의 하나입니다. 올해는 기존에 사용하던 Grant Park High School을 사용할 수 없게 되었습니다. 여러 장소를 알아본 결과 Portage Avenue Church를 사용하는 것이 가장 최선이라고 결정하였습니다.

 

저희 한글학교는 학생들이 안전하게 수업할 수 있도록 방역과 관리를 철저히 할 것입니다. 학교에 오는 모든 사람들을 대상으로 체온 확인, 마스크 필수 착용, 손소독제 사용, 방문자 이름 기록 등을 할 것입니다. 또한 각 교실과 화장실을 소독제로 수업 전과 후에 소독할 것입니다. 또한 학교 내에서는 모두 사회적 거리 두기를 할 것입니다. 이에따라 올 한 해 동안 신체접촉을 하는 K-POP반과 태권도반 같은 문화수업은 취소됩니다.

 

다음은 학교에 오는 분들에게 부탁하는 안전 규칙입니다.

 

1.     건물의 남쪽 입구를 이용해 주십시오.

 

2.     학교 입구에서 체온 측정, 마스크 착용, 손소독제 사용 후에 건물 안으로 들어오기

 

3.     귀가할 때까지 마스크를 벗지 않습니다. (단, 스낵을 먹을 때는 제외)

 

4.     학부모님들이 건물 안에서 기다리는 것은 지양해 주십시오

 

5.     학교에서 간식과 음료수는 제공하지 않습니다.

 

6.     학생들의 개인 스낵 지참은 허용합니다. 단, 다른 사람과 나누어 먹지 않습니다.

 

7.     스낵은 교사의 감독 하에 먹습니다.

 

8.     학교 내에서는 2m 사회적 거리 두기를 지킵니다.

 

9.     재채기를 할 때는 마스크를 착용한 상태로 합니다.

 

10.  감기 증상(발열, 기침, 호흡곤란, 콧물)이 있으면 2주간 가정학습을 합니다.

 

11.  다른 주나 다른 나라에서 여행을 하고 온 경우에는 2주간 가정학습을 합니다.

 

한글학교를 믿고 자녀들을 보내 주시는 부모님께 감사합니다. 학생들을 위해 많은 사랑과 수고를 해 주시는 선생님들과 임원분들께도 감사합니다. 한글학교를 사랑하고 후원해 주시는 지역 단체와 기관들에게도 감사의 말씀을 전합니다. 여러분들로 인해 한글학교가 더 발전하고 학생들이 좋은 교육을 받는다고 생각합니다. 진심으로 감사합니다. 앞으로도 더 발전된 한글학교가 되도록 노력하겠습니다.

Hello, everyone.

 

I know all of us go through difficult time due to COVID-19, yet I believe we can overcome this pandemic wisely. Due to Covid-19, Korean language school faces difficult times such as selecting a place. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to use Grant Park High School. After searching all the available places, we decided to use Portage Avenue Church this year.

 

Regards to health safety issues, checking body temperature, wearing face mask, using hand sanitizer, and collecting visitor records are required. Also, each classroom and washroom will be sanitized before and after class. Keeping social distance is mandatory and classes that have physical contacts such as K-pop and Taekwondo will be cancelled this year.

 

Those who enter the building should follow these lists below:

 

1.    Please use the South entrance when you enter into the building.

 

2.    At the entrance of school students should take body temperature, wear face covering mask, and use hand sanitizer. Then, they are allowed to enter the building

 

3.    Until arriving at home, remain using the face mask.

 

4.    Parents should avoid waiting inside the building.

 

5.    School does not provide snacks and beverages

 

6.    Students’ own snacks and beverages are allowed. But, sharing them is prohibited

 

7.    Eating snacks should be monitored by teachers and/or staffs

 

8.    Stay at least 6 feet from other people

 

9.    Keep a facemask on when sneezing or coughing

 

10. If there are cold and/or covid-19 symptoms (e.g., dry cough, fever, shortness of breath), stay at home for 2 weeks.

 

11. For those who travel from other countries or provinces, stay at home for 2 weeks

 

 

Thank the parents who believe in the school and send their children. In addition, I extend my thank to the teachers and the staff members who work with love for the students. Lastly, I’d like to express my thanks to community organizations and institutions that love and support Korean School. I believe that thanks to you Korean School can grow and the students can get better education. I really appreciate. I will try to make Korean School grow further in the future.
