안녕하세요.
새해 복 많이 받으시고 원하시는 모든 일들이 잘 이루어지기를 기원합니다. 삼주간의 방학을 마치고 2학기를 맞이하였습니다. 이번 소식지에서는 1월, 2월 행사에 대해 안내말씀을 드리고자 합니다. 또한 뒷면에 한글학교 기금마련 설날행사에 관한 설문지가 있사오니 확인하시고 1월 27일까지 우재하 서기에게 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.

Hello. The Manitoba Korean School community wishes you all a Happy New Year!

Hopefully you had a great holiday break and are recharged for the second term. This newsletter announces the events scheduled for January and February. In addition, a survey is attached at the end in regard to the Lunar New Year Fundraiser. Please fill out the survey and return it to the Admin Assistant, Mr. Jeha Woo, by January 27.

 

1월 20일 12시 January 20, 12pm: 설날잔치 브로셔용 학생과 보조교사 및 교직원 전체사진 촬영 Photo shoot of all students, volunteers, staff and teachers for the brochure of the New Year Event

1월 20일 12시에 한글학교 복도에서 전체사진 촬영이 있사오니 자녀분들 예쁘게 해서 보내주세요. On January 20, at 12pm, we will take pictures of all mentioned above in the School hallway.

 

1월 27일 January 27: 문화체험의 날 Cultural Experience Day

1월 27일 오전 10시부터 오전 11시 50분까지 문화체험 학습이 있습니다. The School is hosting the annual Cultural Experience Day on January 27, from 10:00am to 11:50am.

2월 3일 February 3: 1학기 성적표 배부 Distribution of Report Cards for the First Term

2018년 2월 3일에 1학기 성적표가 배부됩니다. 1차 평가를 보지 않은 학생들은 1월 13일에 1차 평가를 볼 수 있습니다. 1차 평가를 안 본 경우 점수는 안 나가고 총 평가만 나갑니다.

Report cards for the first term will be distributed on February 3. Those, who missed the term test in December, will write the test on Jan. 13. Those, who did not take the test, will not receive a letter grade, but an overall evaluation.

 

2월 10일 소강당 February 10, Jr. Gym: 매니토바 한글학교 기금마련 설날잔치 Manitoba Korean School Lunar New Year Fundraiser

2월 10일 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 1시까지 매니토바 한글학교 기금마련을 위한 설날잔치가 있사오니 많은 참여 부탁드립니다. 소중한 기부금은 학생들과 학교 발전을 위해 귀히 사용하겠습니다. 오실때 학생들뿐만 아니라 학부형님들과 손님분들도 한복입고 와 주세요. The School is hosting an annual Lunar New Year Fundraiser on February 10, from 10:30am to 1pm. Your generous donation would be truly appreciated and used for our students and school programs. Please come wearing Hanbok applicable not only to students but also parents and guests.

Food sale, garage sale, cultural display, calligraphy and Korean classes display, face painting, 50/50 raffle draw (cash only)

11:20am-1:00pm 귀빈 인사말, 세배 및 공연 Dignitaries’ Greetings, New Year Prostration and Performances

공연: 초급2반 탈춤, 사물놀이, 록밴드, 케이팝 댄스, 태권도반, 조태권도 시범팀 (변경 가능)

Performances: Introductory 2-Tal Choom (Mask dance), Samullori Korean percussion, Rock Band, K-Pop dance, Taekwondo Class, Cho Taekwondo Academy demonstration team (Subject to change)
