2014-2015 학년도 한글학교 사업안

9월 13일~6월 6일: 총 31 주

27주 수업

4주 행사: 개학식, 설날맞이 전통문화체험, 말하기대회 및 퀴즈, 종업식

한국어반 10반 (어린이반 8반 성인반2반): 수업있는 토요일 10시 ~ 11시 50분

교과과정:

·         1년과정: 유치1, 2반, 한국어1, 2 반,

·         2년과정: 한국어3, 4, 5반, 성인1, 2반

·         한국어 기초반 (초등고학년부터 성인대상. 수준에 따라 1, 2년 과정)

 반편성기준: 연령, 수준 고려. 신입생과 월반 학생은 유치1, 2반과 한국어기초반을 제외하고 수준테스트 시험 본 후에 반배정

특활반 8반: 수업있는 토요일 12시 ~ 12시 50분

·         동요반, 미술반, 독서반, 종이접기반, 사물놀이반, 태권도반, 케이팝반, 학부모강좌반

·         필수가 아닌 선택

·         특활반 수업료 따로 책정 (한글학교 학생 년간 20불, 외부학생 60불 (50불 수강료+10불 보험비)

·         학생수가 4명 미만일 경우 취소

학부모/성인반학생 면담: 11월

각 반 담당교사는 학부모님들과 성인반 학생들과의 면담을 통해 여러 의견을 수렴하여 더욱 효율적인 한국어 교육을 위해 정진

1차 시험 및 방학식: 12월 13일

·         10시~ 11:50분: 1차 평가

·         12시~ 1시: 카페테리아에서 방학식 거행

설날잔치 및 전통문화체험: 2월 21일 10시 ~ 1시, 소강당

·         대내외 귀빈들과 한글학교공동체, 손님들 초대

·         다양한 공연과 한국 전통문화체험

·         물품 판매 테이블 (한글학교내 소모품 재고 판매)

백일장: 3월 21일 원고 마감

초중고등, 성인반학생들의 시, 수필, 짧은글짓기 중 우수한 작품 수상

말하기대회 및 한국 역사 문화 퀴즈대회, 백일장 상장수여식: 4월 25일 10시 ~ 1시, 소강당

·         어린이반 성인반으로 나누어 말하기 대회 실시

·         교내 최우수상, 반별 우수상 및 격려상 수상

·         각 반별 역사 문화 퀴즈대회를 통해 한국 역사와 문화 이해

·         백일장의 우수상 수여식

글동산 앨범 준비: 5월 2일과 9일 (사진 찍는 날, 학생작품제출)

학생들의 글, 그림일기, 독후감, 그림, 종이접기작품등과 학생, 자원봉사자, 교직원, 이사회원,  행사 사진등을 수록

2차 시험: 5월 23일

학예회 및 종업식: 6월 6일 10시 ~ 1시, 소강당

총회: 이사 선출

학예회: 일년간 다져온 모든 특활반의 활동 성과를 학부모님들을 모시고 전시 내지 발표

종업식

·         일년간 노력해온 학생들의 한국어 교육성과를 우수상장 수여

·         지각, 결석, 조퇴가 한번도 없는 학생들에게 개근상 수여

·         졸업장 수여

·         자원봉사자들의 증서 수여

·         한글학교 졸업생 중에 2015년도에 대학에 들어가는 학생들에게 장학금 수여

2014-2015 Class Schedule and School events

Sept. 12 ~ June 6: Total of 31 weeks

27 weeks: Regular classes; 4 weeks events: Opening Ceremony, New Year Events, Speech Contest, Year-End Ceremony

Ten Korean language classes: eight for children and two for adults: Saturdays, 10:00am-11:50am

Korean class program:

·         1 year program: Preschool, Kindergarten, Korean 1, 2

·         2 year program: Korean 3, 4, 5, Adult 1, 2

·         Korean Basic (1 or 2 year program depending on the level of students)

Criteria for class assessment: Age and level. Assessment test for new students except for the Preschool, Kindergarten and Korean Basic classes

Eight Activity classes: Saturdays, 12:00pm-12:50pm

·         Children’s Songs, Arts, Story Reading, Origami, Korean Percussion, Taekwondo, K-Pop, Parents Classes

·         Optional

·         Tuition fee for Korean School students: $20/Year and others $60/Year, incl. $10 for insurance fee

·         Cancellation in case of enrollment lower than four students

Parent/Adult Students-Teacher Meeting: Throughout November

Each class teacher shall have a meeting with the parents or adult students and integrate their input and suggestions.

·         10:00am-11:50am: Term Test

·         12:00pm-1:00pm: Term End Ceremony, Cafeteria

New Year Fundraiser & Culture Experience: Feb. 21, 10:00am-1:00pm

·         Invitation of dignitaries, Korean school community and guests

·         Various performances and Korean culture experience

·         Stationary sale

Writing Competition: March 21; deadline for writing competition entries

Children and adult students’ writing competition in poems, short stories

Speech Contest & Quiz on Korean History and Culture, Writing Competition Award Ceremony: April 25, 10:00am-1:00pm, Jr. Gym

·         Students from Children’s Class 1 to Adult Class 2 may participate.

·         Best students from children’s and adult classes will be awarded

·         Understanding of Korean history and culture through quizzes

·         Award ceremony for the Writing Competition

Preparation of Yearbook “Geuldongsan”: May 2, 9: Picture day, Submission of students’ works

The Yearbook includes students’ works, writings, book reviews, painting, origami as well as pictures of students, volunteers, teachers, and staff.

Final Examination: May 23

Talent Show & Year-End Ceremony: June 6, 10:00am-1:00pm, Jr. Gym

General Meeting: Election of Directors of the School Board if needed

Talent Show: Display and performance of all activity classes

Year-End Ceremony

·         Attendance Award: Students, who never failed to attend class on time will be awarded the Attendance Award.

·         Excellence Award: Students, who exceeded in their performance in class will be awarded the Excellence Award.

·         Graduation Certificates

·         Volunteer Certificates

·         Scholarship: Graduates from the Manitoba Korean School upon completion of 9 or 6 years program will be given a scholarship for their entry to a university or college.
