Social Distancing Notice

The Manitoba Federation of Non-profit Organizations has been following the Covid-19 situation closely. We are working collaboratively to ensure non-profit organizations have the most up to date information. 

Canada and Manitoba are recommending social distancing measures to help stop the spread of Covid-19. 

These measures include:

- Minimizing close contact with others, and staying home when possible.

- Limiting contact with people at higher risk like older adults and those in poor health. 

- At least two meters of distance between people in grocery stores, gas stations and workplaces. 

- Hand washing whenever you return home with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. 

All people who are feeling sick or displaying symptoms are asked to self-isolate. 

All travellers coming home from abroad are asked to self-isolate for 14 days upon return.

MFNPO will be sending out a notice on management strategies during this crisis later this week. 

We continue to acknowledge the front line workers who are going to work to deliver essential services to at risk and vulnerable Manitobans.
